In the movie “Coming to America”, the name of the fast food establishment run by John Amos’ character, Cleo McDowell, was McDowell’s. The restaurant was a parody of McDonald’s, with the tagline “My ‘M’ is the Golden Arcs” to distinguish it from the rival chain’s “Golden Arches,” and its signature burger was the “Big Mick” instead of the “Big Mac”.Â
