LISC invites the community to join them as they celebrate the thriving metropolitan Kansas City Area with the presentation of the annual Thrive Awards. This year’s Thrive Award presentation will take place Nov. 15, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy near 18th and Vine.
LISC, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, is a national non-profit organization that works to boost under-invested communities.
The program will recognize the extraordinary achievements of individuals and organizations making Kansas City a great place to live, work and play.
Thrive is more than an awards ceremony. Every attendee will have the opportunity to interact with the honorees, and participate in a hands-on experience they have designed especially for Thrive. All while enjoying an open bar and locally sourced food!
