The Kansas Democratic Party has launched a campaign, Finish the Ballot, encouraging voters to vote beyond the Presidential and Federal races, and all the way down to the end of their ballot. “Your votes in the presidential race, the federal congressional and senatorial races, and the state-level legislative races are incredibly important. And because your votes are so important, we encourage you to vote all the way down the ballot and in your local races, as well,” they write on their website.
They’re right! Any and all persons in every elected position are given power to make decisions that control our/your daily life. Don’t give away your power, have a say in who impacts your life from the District Attorney’s office who makes decisions on who is charged for a crime and who isn’t, to the State Board of Education who make decisions about what our required to learn.
