Wichita Area Technical College is now WSU Tech. 

A grand re-opening will be 2:45 p.m. Thursday, July 12.

The open house will include scholarship and career information, free food, tours and demonstrations.

The campus is at 4004 N. Webb Road, north of Jabara Airport. 

It will be known as WSU’s NCAT Campus, short for National Center for Aviation Training.

The school will offer a variety of certifications and associate degrees, as well as a pathway to transfer to WSU’s other degree programs. 

Placing students in jobs within the local aerospace industry will also be a priority for the school.
