Here are few activities we suggest as safe, fun and family friendly activities to enjoy this Halloween season.
Sat., Oct. 29, 5-7 p.m. “Scary Stories Told in the Dark” Sponsored by the Wichita Griots – they’re great storytellers – at North Heights Christian Church, 3030 N. Hillside. Cost $5 and it includes dinner.
Sun. Oct. 30, 4:30 -6:30 p.m. Trunk or Treat at Eastminster Church, 1958 N. Webb.
Kids can visit trunks decorated in exciting themes to “trunk or treat” for candy, enjoy fun games, bounce in inflatables, take a hay rack ride, munch on hot dogs and treats, and make new friends. Costumes are encouraged, but nothing scary please! This is for families with children up to fifth grade.
Mon., Oct. 31, 5:30 p.m. Trunk or Treat, St. Matthew CME Church, 841 N. Cleveland. Sponsored by the church’s youth group.
Mon. Oct. 31, 6 p.m. Trunk or Treat, Atwater Community Center, 19th and Volutsia.
Mon. Oct. 31, 5:30 – 8 p.m. Hallelujah Night, Tabernacle Bible Church, 17th and Volutsia. Games, candy, and snacks for kids and families.
