Closed Maya Angelou Branch Library Scheduled to Reopen Late February

The Maya Angelou Branch Library, 3051 E. 21st St., closed for renovation since October 1, is scheduled to reopen in late February.  The branch is undergoing a complete interior remodel as part of the Library’s master plan to enhance services at branch locations.

Deshaun Durham Released From Prison After Clemency by KS Gov. Kelly

Deshaun Durham, 24, walked out of prison on Friday morning, Dec. 6, after more than 2.5 years incarcerated in a Kansas prison for possessing 2.4 pounds of cannabis.
