NATIONAL

Yes, Trump Won. Here’s What Happens Next

Election Day is over. What happened? How did it happen? Why did it happen? What could we have done differently? Check out some answers here.

  • Wichita City Council members approved millions for the initial work to turn Park Elementary into the Multi-Agency Center and this season’s emergency winter shelter. However, the plan was to also build 50 affordable housing units on the Park Elementary site and 125 units at 10th and Topeka, a few blocks away. Parts of that plan are already falling through. (KSN)

  • In the first Saturday Night Live episode after Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory, the cast opened with a skit mocking their past anti-Trump stance by pretending to be long-time Trump supporters. (Youtube)

  • With a record 99 Grammy nominations and acclaim as one of the most influential artists in music history, pop superstar Beyoncé and her expansive cultural legacy will be the subject of a new course at Yale University next year. (AP)
