Mon., Aug. 21, 3– 5 pm: Reception and Book Event for Compassionate Accountability, Kansas Leadership Center, 325 E Douglas. Join author Nate Regier and the Next Element team to celebrate the launch of our new book. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, network with others who are passionate about building thriving work cultures, hear a short book presentation and pick up a book and get it signed.

Tue., Aug. 22, 5:30– 7:30 pm: Public Art Forum, CityArts, 334 N Mead. The forum will be a facilitated discussion building on public art survey questions to provide additional data for accessing current public art processes. Members of the public interested in public art issues are welcome to attend.

Wed., Aug. 23, 11:45 am – 1 pm: Bet You Didn’t Know You Were a Brand Champion, Wichita Advanced Learning Library, 711 W. 2nd. Guest speaker Brandy N. Evans, vice president of marketing at Visit Wichita, will discuss how businesses need cheerleaders to champion their products or service. PLUS, hear how Visit Wichita is building brand champions and learn some tips to create your own.

Thu., Aug. 24, 11 am – 1 pm: News Connect, Wichita Advanced Learning Library, 711 W 2nd. A coalition of 11 media outlets and community partners is piloting a unique opportunity for members of the public to interact with local journalists. Join the conversation and contribute to the stories that shape our community. We’re calling out to all news enthusiasts, curious minds, and community-driven individuals. This is your chance to engage!
