Trivia Answer: C. Shaft. Isaac Hayes is famous for writing the theme music for the film Shaft. He also wrote the rest of the film’s musical score. The “Theme from Shaft” won him an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1972, making him the first African-American to win in that category.
