The shortage of weight-loss and diabetes drugs that have been an issue since 2022 are over. GLP-1 drugs had been in shortage since 2022 due to increased demand, and a law allowed compounding pharmacies to step in to fill supply gaps during those years. 

PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) centers provide government-funded medical care and social services to people older than 55 whose complex medical needs qualify them for nursing home care, but who can live at home with the right sort of help. 

With prices for common medications often reaching hundreds—or even thousands—of dollars, it’s no surprise that prescription coupons have emerged as a vital resource, offering relief to uninsured, underinsured, and those on suboptimal insurance plans.
