Sat., Aug. 5, Wind Surge Salutes Monrovians for 2023 Season, Riverfront Stadium, 300 S. Sycamore. The Wind Surge will pay tribute by becoming the Wichita Monrovians. The Wichita Monrovians were an all-Black semi-professional baseball team most known for their 10-8 victory over the Ku Klux Klan in a June 1925 game at Wichita’s Ackerman Park.
