Trivia Answer: B. Heptathlon. At the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, Jackie Joyner-Kersee won her second consecutive gold medal in the heptathlon and also earned a bronze medal in the long jump. A heptathlon is a multi-event competition that spans seven track and field events. These include 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200-meter sprint, long jump, javelin throw, and 800-meter run.
