Ad Hoc Group Against Crimeย will soon break ground on a new $6 million Center for Healing and Justice in KCโ€™sย Santa Fe neighborhood. The 8,800-square-foot facility will provide expanded services for families affected by violence and crime.

4. Black Business Summit & Shark Tank-Style Pitch Competition Returns for Third Year

Ten local Black-owned businesses will compete for $60,000 in prizes on March 29 at the Delta Athenaeum asย G.I.F.T.ย (Generating Income for Tomorrow) will host its annual Pitch Black Business Summit, showcasing Black entrepreneurs in a Shark Tank-style competition.

5. Shondalandโ€™s New White House Murder Mystery Premiering on Netflix

Shonda Rhimes former Scandal writer and producer Paul William Davies are setting their sights on the White House once again โ€” this time, with a twist. Get ready for The Residence, a murder mystery revolving around the most disastrous (and deadly) state dinner in history, starring Uzo Aduba
