Spring is coming and so is the end of another school year and another class of high school and college graduates anxious to join the workforce.
This month, the city of Wichita is holding career fairs prior to District Advisory Board Meetings.
Career Fairs for Districts 2, 3, and 6 are upcoming. Residents outside those districts can still attend a Career Fair in another District.
Applications will be accepted for all job openings, but the city is stressing that there is an increased need for Wichita Police officers, and Wichita aquatics and production and pumping positions.
The Career Fair for District 3 will be Wednesday, March 6 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the WATER Center, 101 E. Pawnee. District 5’s Career Fair will be at the Wichita Water Works Administration Building, 2120 N. Hoover Road and District 6 will be from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Evergreen Community Center and Library at 2601 N. Arkansas.
