Senior Connect 2026 packed Wichita’s Carl Brewer Community Center Aug. 14 for a day filled with information, fellowship and plenty of fun.
A capacity crowd of seniors visited exhibitors, attended workshops, received health screenings, danced, took photos and connected with friends old and new.
The free Community Legacy Award Luncheon also reached capacity, recognizing seniors who continue to make a difference in the community.
Throughout the day, attendees gathered useful information on health, legal and financial issues, technology and community resources. But Senior Connect was about more than information. The energy throughout the Brewer Center was upbeat, social and fun, with plenty of laughter, music and conversation.
The event was designed around three simple words: Connect. Discover. Live Well. Judging from the response, Senior Connect delivered on all three.
Since the event, participants have continued to share positive reviews, with one question coming up again and again: “When are you doing it again?”
With a turnout and response like this, the answer is easy: Senior Connect will definitely be back.
