Juneteenth Wichita Celebration continues, following a packed week of activities that included a poetry slam, a movie viewing, a meal for seniors and the Miss Juneteenth Pageant.

This, the 10th annual Juneteenth celebration in Wichita,  is themed Rooted in History, Unity, Culture, and Joy! The festival honors a decade of community impact, cultural expression, and Black excellence in the heart of Wichita.Here’s what we have for the balance of the celebration that requires the purchase of a $6 ban to gain access to the site:  Please support!!  Community events like these cost money to put on.

Kickin’ It for the Culture: Juneteenth ICT Kickball Game
In partnership with Wichita Urban Professionals

A fun, family-friendly showdown celebrating culture, community, and a little healthy competition under the summer sun.

We’re bringing the soul, the sound and the celebration with performances by Willie Wactor, Khoris Antone and Bam Hines. This event is hosted by Samuel David with music by DJ Clash.

6th Annual Jubilee 2-Mile Walk & Run 

In partnership with the Wichita Athletics Track Club
Location: Redbud Trail, 17th & Oliver
On-site Check-in 7:40 AM | Walk/Run begins at 8:00 AM

Juneteenth ICT Parade Presented by Evergy 

Route: Holy Savior Catholic Academy to Historic McAdams Park via E. 13th St.

Parade begins at 10:00 AM

Don’t miss the Juneteenth ICT Parade with floats, cool rides, churches, bands, and local groups bringing the energy. 

Immediately following the parade, attendees are able to explore the vendor and food court.

Gates open at 11:00 AM  | Show starts at 11:30 AM

This event is emceed by Comedian and Power 93.5’s Alonzo Ross with guest performances from dynamic entertainers. This event will keep you entertained until the late evening.
