Artist INC Live (AIL)is coming to Wichita! In partnership with Harvester Arts, creatives of all kinds are invited to apply for this eight-session program by Mid-America Arts Alliance that helps artists, of any discipline, develop the building blocks for a thriving and enduring arts practice.
Per a release, “Artist INC is not your standard classroom experience. Right away, Artist INC activates a network of artists in the community, leading to more peer-to-peer resource sharing, collaborations, and support long after the workshop concludes.”
The program will run March 18–May 6, gathering one evening a week to learn strategic business skills specific to their art practice and how to apply those skills cooperatively with their peers.
Artist INC Live (AIL) is open to artists and creatives of all disciplines, however there is a competitive application process. Application must be submitted by Jan. 27 at https://artistinc.art/apply/. There is a course fee of $150 per person.
For this session, participants must live within a 60-minute commute from the program location. All sessions are in person at Harvesters Arts, 120 E. First St. N., Wichita, KS
Using a groundbreaking class design, Artist INC Live guides artists as they learn and grow together through artist facilitator mentoring, small group application activities, as well as large group discussion and multimedia lecture.
