Wichita Park and Recreation is teaming with the Salvation Army to provide winter coats, sweaters and blankets to those in need.

The Warm Hearts Coat Distribution events are Oct. 16-20 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Oct. 23-27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wichita Recreation Centers: Boston, 6655 E. Zimmerly; Brewer at 11329 E. 16th St.; Colvin at 2820 S. Roosevelt; Edgemoor at 5815 E. 9th St.; Evergreen at 2700 N. Woodland; Linwood, 1901 S. Kansas; Orchard at 4808 W. 9th St.; and Woodard at 2750 E. 18th St.

Anyone in need of a winter coat, sweater or blanket for themselves or for family members need to bring proper identification to receive one as long as supplies last.
