Here are the 2023 General Election candidate forums or debates scheduled so far. Watch this space for additional events announced as the election approaches. Make your plans now to be sure your vote counts on Nov. 7.

Sept. 25: KMUW, the Wichita Eagle and the Wichita Journalism Collaborative are holding a debate for the mayoral candidates. Both KMUW and the Eagle will livestream the event. It will be held at Roxy’s, 412 E Douglas beginning at 6 p.m.

Oct. 11: Wichita Habitat for Humanity and the Wichita Journalism Collaborative are hosting a mayoral forum focused on housing topics. It will be at the Advanced Learning Library, 77 West 2nd St., Wichita. Forum is 5:45 to 7 p.m.

Oct. 16: Rotary Club of Wichita will host an election event. It will be held at Botanica, 701 Amidon St., at noon.

Oct. 18: The Wichita Beacon is co-sponsoring a mayoral forum with the Wichita State University Student Engagement office, the League of Women Voters and Loud Light. It will be at the CAC Theater on campus at 1845 Fairmount St. Forum starts at noon.

Oct. 19: KWCH will host an election forum in the KWCH Studios at 2815 E. 37th Street North. Forum starts at 6:30 p.m.

Oct. 22: The Wichita NAACP will host an election forum at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1817 N. Volutsia. Forum runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will include mayoral, school board and council candidates.
Oct. 25: The Wichita Beacon is co-sponsoring a school board forum with the WSU Student Engagement Office, the League of Women Voters and Loud Light. Orum will be on the WSU campus, Room 211 in Hubbard Hall. Forum starts at 6 p.m.
