Wichita native Christina Long set out to build a comprehensive graphics design and communications company when she founded CML Collective in 2013.
A decade later, she is one of the area’s best known entrepreneurs, and one of the go-to leaders for established companies looking to improve their brand and for startups to successfully launch a business.
A Wichita State University graduate, she is also the founding president and CEO of Create Campaign, Inc., a tax-exempt nonprofit that helps urban entrepreneurs all over Kansas to start businesses and succeed.
Long leads the Wichita Urban E-Community, has served on the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors and is a new author.
Her debut book is “For the Greater Success.”
In it, she talks about her personal journey and offers advice to other people who are facing sometimes difficult life decisions in forging a path forward.
Her numerous honors include receiving the Chamber’s Exceptional Young Leader Award, earning a Wichita Business Journal Leaders in Diversity Award, and being named the Kansas Minority Business Advocate of the Year by the Kansas Dept. of Commerce’s Office of Minority and Women Business Development. Long and her husband, Jonathan, have three children: Amarah, Malcolm and Jordyn.
