KC Friends of Alvin Ailey CEO Retires

Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey, an arts organization that celebrates Black culture through dance, announced that CEO Melanie Miller will retire. During her time as CEO, Miller achieved financial stability and several milestones for the organization. Susan Stanton, a previous board member and current advisory board member for KCFAA, will assume the responsibilities of CEO in the interim period until a comprehensive search is conducted for a new CEO to lead Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey into its next phase of growth.
