If you live in Kansas City, KS, and you’ve got all the answers, Mayor Tyrone A. Garner would love to hear from you. From potholes & policing to education, development, and transportation: no idea is too big or too small.

KCK residents will have the chance to speak with Mayor Garner one-on-one and share their ideas for improving Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS during the monthly “Mayor Tyrone Tuesdays” sessions.

Mayor Tyrone Tuesdays provides a platform for residents to share their ideas and get involved in shaping the community’s future. By participating in these sessions, community members can have a direct impact on their neighborhoods and help create a better Wyandotte County and Kansas City, KS.

To participate, residents must register in advance for a five-minute time slot by clicking on the monthly registration link found on wycokck.org. During the meeting, Mayor Garner will listen to residents’ ideas and solutions for community challenges. Anyone is welcome to join and bring their ideas.

Residents are encouraged to come prepared as time is limited with over 169,000 neighbors in the area. Those who register can also bring along others, but that doesn’t increase your five minute slot.  .

Translation services can also be  provided, but you must communicate the need for translation when you register.  The Mayor’s office asks that anyone who has participated in a session within the last six months allow other community members the opportunity to meet with Mayor Garner before attending again.

These meetings will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building,  701 N. 7th Street, Kansas City, KS.

Upcoming Mayor Tyrone Tuesday events will be held Mar. 28, Apr. 25, May 23, June 27, Aug. 22, Sep. 26, Oct. 24, and Nov. 28, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
