Another year has come and gone – and what a year it has been!

Much like 2022, this year was a growing one for us.  We rolled out our new print design as well as a new website and added a few members to our team. We’re excited about 2023 and our potential to better serve our readers and advertisers.

Whether you have been a loyal reader or advertiser for all 28 years or you just found your way to us recently, I would like to personally thank you for your support. We will continue to strive to deliver a high-quality product that serves, informs, and empowers our community.

I would also like to thank our staff for their tireless work and without whom we would not be in the position we are today. I am truly grateful for their valuable contributions.

We have some great ideas for 2023, but we always appreciate hearing your ideas and criticisms. Feel free to reach out to me personally at

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We want to know what you think about the past year and our coverage of community news, share your comments with us below.
