The Shocker Neighborhood Commitment is a scholarship offering to students who are graduating from high school, are Pell-eligible, and live in Shocker Neighborhood. Shocker Neighborhood runs from I-35 to Oliver and from Central to k-96. The Commitment includes an unmet need scholarship with guarantees coverage for tuition and fees. We also commit to provide personal and academic success support and intense career preparation services.
Students only need to complete their application for WSU and their FAFSA for automatic consideration. No separate application is required.
The priority deadline has been pushed back to April 2nd. If students need help completing either the application to WSU or their FAFSA, we will provide that support.
