WHO: Wichita Water Partners, the design-build team led by Alberici and Burns & McDonnell; and companies interested in working on the project.
WHAT: A virtual event for potential subcontractors to learn about project work for the Northwest Water Facility. The presentation and subsequent breakout sessions will connect participants with contracting firms and business support agencies.
WHEN: 4-6 p.m., Thursday, February 25
WHY: The $500 million project will take 1.6 million trade hours to complete. Construction for the Northwest Water Facility is underway and work packages will soon be released. Wichita Water Partners – led by Alberici and Burns & McDonnell – is committed to creating opportunities for emerging and minority-owned businesses. All interested subcontractors are invited to register for the virtual event where participants will hear from project team leaders, learn about work packages coming available and the process for bidding on work.
