STEMusic LLC recently launched their inaugural Book Scholarship for underrepresented students with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

STEMusics’ mission is to inspire the next generation of multicultural STEM professionals through engaging and entertaining music.

This scholarship aims to support Black and Brown graduating high school seniors who are choosing to pursue a bachelor’s degree in STEM. STEMusic will award three students with a $250 Book Scholarship.

STEMusic believes in the power of supporting underrepresented students on their journey in STEM and hopes to aid in removing financial roadblocks that can be extremely discouraging.

“I remember what it was like to not have the finances I needed to pursue my STEM degree,” said Roy Moye III, Founder & CEO of STEMusic. “As a Black, Puerto Rican, and Mexican student in STEM, I struggled to identify scholarship opportunities back when I was in college. Thanks to some great advisors, I was able to secure enough scholarships to earn my degree in Aerospace Engineering. The STEMusic Book Scholarship was created for students that look like me, and my hope is that it can help them in their pursuit of a STEM degree.”
