The weekend of July 14-15 was set aside by many in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan areas for the 8th Annual Hot Stiletto Charity Event, two events held over the two dates to bring women together for networking and fun, and to support victims of domestic violence.

The Annual Hot Stiletto Shoe Charity Gala is a signature fund-raiser hosted by the Shoe Club and Community Outreach Organization founded by Vicki Kelly. Proceeds from the event ticket sales, auctions, and donations go toward the organization’s programs and additional needs of women housed in domestic violence shelters.

The event seeks to raise awareness of domestic violence and provides victims, survivors, sponsors, and friends an opportunity to interact and enjoy chair massages, manicures, makeovers, karaoke, photo shoots, and more. The goal is to uplift, inspire, support, and build confidence in sisterhood for women who seeking safety from their abusers.

Kelly continues to combine stilettos and community service to empower women to stand tall. The event motto is, “We can conquer anything, just do it in cute shoes!” The gala was hosted by actress and singer Tisha Campbell, who facilitated an evening brought together with endless fun and entertainment.
