The Kansas City Black Achievers Society hosted their annual Black Achievers Reception and Awards Dinner at the Federal Reserve Bank on Jan 17.
Thirteen Black Achievers were inducted into the Society. They include:

Gordon Criswell, Assistant County Administrator for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County, accepted an award on behalf of the County.
The Black Achievers Society of Greater Kansas City is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1974 by the former Kansas City, Mayor Emanuel Cleaver, actively serve as role models for African American and minority youth, sharing knowledge gained through academic and corporate experience.
