Looking at the Overlooked features the work of three individual artists, Houston-based artists Jamal Cyrus and Nathaniel Donnett with Los Angeles-based artist Rodney McMillian,  who utilize common and everyday materials, and construct works that move between the genres of painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and performance. Their work incorporates prefabricated objects and imagery in a way that expands the perceptions of history, representation, class, violence, resistance, and cultural practice.

Looking at the Overlooked will be available to see from September 9-December 10, but a Fall Exhibition Opening celebration will take place September 8, from 7-9 pm.
