Free breakfasts, lunches and snacks will be offered to children and teens 18 years old and younger at 41 locations in Wichita as part of the Kid Power Café Summer Food Program. The Wichita Public Schools partnered with Kid Power, who teaches students about the importance of eating healthy, to promote the free meals available to all students.

The Kid Power Café free breakfast/lunch program begins May 31 and runs through July 28. 

No meal reservations are required and there are no qualifying guidelines or paperwork to fill out. Participants can go to the location serving breakfast and/or lunch during the designated times and they will be accommodated. Locations, times and a map are posted to

Breakfast will include cereal/bread and milk. Lunch will consist of an entrée, fruit, vegetable and milk. Adults can buy lunch for $3.75, breakfast for $2.00 and snack for $1.00.
