Vickie Winans will serve as MC or the concert and perform.  Her son Marvin Winans, Jr., a part of the third generation of Winans, and Charles Ellington of Lawton, OK, will also perform.   began singing with his cousins as “Winans Phase 2.” Dorothy Norwood, known as “The World’s Greatest Storyteller,” began her gospel career in 1956, singing with Mahalia Jackson, Reverent James Cleveland, and with one of the greatest female gospel groups of all time, the Caravans. She launched her solo career in 1960, and for nearly ever year of her professional career singing gospel music, Norwood has recorded an album. In 50 years, Norwood has continued to top Gospel Charts, earn gold albums status and receive accolades and recognition including induction into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

The Rance Allen Group is another Gospel Legend. The Allen Brothers, Rance, Tom, and Steve have been recording and performing together for 40 years. Their sacred, secular music fusion, harmonies, lyrical messages of faith and Rance’s stratospheric falsetto have made them standout as one of the most dynamic groups in music. In the earlier years, the group made a name for themselves with cross over hits such as “Jump My Salvation,” a consecrated cover of the Temptations “Just My Imagination.”

Although their sound has evolved over the years, the group still stands out with their soulful and jazzy sound that continues to win over fans.
