“It is important to City officials that DBE’s are fairly represented on public projects. We are aware of concerns being raised and have conducted a thorough internal investigation. 

The FAA has also made inquiries and we can assure you that the City is cooperating fully.

There is a dispute between the general contractor and its subcontractors; however, progress under the contract is moving quickly toward a resolution. 

We can confirm that the Airport has paid the general contractor, so funds are available. We look forward to these matters being resolved in the near future.”
