Each June, the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Wichita State University hosts Dental Day, a one-day event for high school students considering a career in dentistry, encouraging young people to pursue a career in dentistry in Kansas.
From 8:30AM-4:30PM, Friday, June 3, the program will host its 5th Annual Dental Day at the Delta Dental of Kansas WSU AEGD Clinic (2838 N. Oliver). This hands-on program provides students the opportunity to take impressions and molds of their teeth, learn about radiology and practice scaling and drilling teeth.
Registration is open and online at www.wichita.edu/dentalday. The cost is$15 per student and the deadline is May 20. Registration is limited to 30 students. This year’s event is sponsored by Henry Schein Dental Supply
