The Exploration Place is kicking off a new adults-only music series- for those who want to get out and have some fun during these (usually) cold winter months.
There will be four sessions as follows “Sounds of Science” 300 N. McLean Blvd:
Thursday, March 10, 5:30-8:00PM presented by Wichita Blues Society, as they play special selections and show how the blues can rock your world. Experience the Exploration Place’s current national traveling exhibit, GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked the World.
Thursday, March 24, 5:30-8:00PM featuring KMUW Music Tasting and William Flynn with combo
Groove to WSU guitar professor William Flynn presents a suite of music composed to showcase the many unique capabilities of the electric guitar.
Thursday, April 7, 5:30-8:00PM featuring School of Rock Wichita
Thursday, May 5, 5:30-8:00PM featuring Tallgrass Film Association and the documentary “It Might Get Loud”
