Arvelisha Woods and India Monique won the top prize of $30,000 at the second annual We Are Black pitch competition, which was sponsored by Kansas City’s Generating Income for Tomorrow (G.I.F.T.), and was attended by 10 Black-owned businesses from the Kansas City area.
