Thirty Years After Cities Nationwide Mark Million Man March Legacy — Wichita Plans Weeklong Commemoration

Thirty years after hundreds of thousands of Black men converged on Washington, D.C., for a day of reflection, atonement and commitment, communities across the country are planning commemorations of the 1995 Million Man March — including a six-day observance in Wichita.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers plan to appeal as convicted hip-hop star faces more years behind bars. Combs was convicted in July of flying his girlfriends and male sex workers around the country to engage in drug-fueled sexual encounters over many years and in multiple places. (PT)

Trump calls on FCC to ‘look into’ Al Sharpton in latest attack on media and free speech. The U.S. president made personal insults against the civil rights activist in a Truth Social post, seemingly because of his political views. (The Grio)

France in fresh political crisis as Prime Minister quits after 26 days. French media said French President Emmanuel Macron was not expected to make a statement on Monday, leaving questions swirling over his next move. (BBC)

Trivia Answer: A. Erykah Badu. In 2010, Erykah Badu stripped nude at the site of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas for her music video “Window Seat”. Badu sheds her clothing as she walks the route of JFK’s motorcade and collapses as if shot once she reaches the spot where he was assassinated. Due to the public nudity, the Dallas native was charged with disorderly conduct, which resulted in a $500 fine and six months of probation. The controversial video’s release garnered significant media attention and debate.
