Gossip haunted  Denton Loudermill Jr. in his last days when he was falsely accused in the 2024 shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs parade, leading to death threats and slander his family couldn’t escape.

TKAAM Celebrates 25 Years of Trailblazers Honoring Black Excellence in Kansas

For 25 years, The Kansas African American Museum (TKAAM) has celebrated the individuals who have pushed boundaries, lifted their communities, and helped define the African American experience in Kansas and beyond. Through its Trailblazers program, TKAAM recognizes pioneers whose excellence and perseverance have paved the way for future generations.

We sadly announce that our popular cartoon Claytoonz will be gone for a while. In one of his last cartoons, Clay Jones spun his biting, left-leaning political satire on the new Trump implemented U.S. Immigration Exam.

Trivia Answer: D. Marvin Gaye. The drummer on Stevie Wonder’s 1963 hit “Fingertips” was the Motown icon Marvin Gaye. The track was recorded live, and Gaye is credited with playing the drums.
