Spades With Love: Adult Game Night & Community Giveback Edition
November 15, 2025 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
This will be a celebration rooted in Black joy, culture, connection, and community care. Expect classic games like Spades, Uno, Jenga, Dominos, Rummy, Phase 10, etc.; giveaways and door prizes; music brought to you by DJ Super Mario, onsite food vendors (The Grand Terrace, Rice House, The Velvet Cup), and mental health moments. And, of course, the vibes will be vibing with Host Samuel David.
Entry is simple: come ready to give back (bring at least one item for donation to the College Hill UMC Food Pantry, a suggested contribution to support local families in need) and kick back (play, laugh, sing, dance, and enjoy yourself). If you still want to learn how to play Spades…with love…join us Wednesday, November 12 for the BLACK in One Piece™ Family Reunion at the Advanced Learning Library. It’s free, with food provided by Charcutistry, and host Phylicia Thompson will be in the building to get you Spades-ready for the next cookout. Attend this event and receive an additional door prize entry at Adult Game Night.
