KCK Quindaro Site Named National Historic Landmark

The Quindaro Townsite in Kansas City, Kansas โ€” once a stop along the Underground Railroad for people escaping slavery and a home to abolitionists during the โ€œFree Stateโ€ era โ€” has officially gained National Historic Landmark status from the federal government!
