Winter weather is blanketing our area, with snow already arriving in both Wichita and Kansas City.
New to Wichita this year are names for the city’s over 70 snow plows, salt & sand trucks that clear the roads for area drivers. The city gave some rather comical names to the trucks with names like “EisenPlower,” “William Scrape-speare,” and “Every day I’m Shovelin.”
Residents can also track the plows and their progress in clearing roads on the city’s website at wichita.gov.
