The minister and members of St. Matthew CME celebrated the church’s 100th Anniversary with a month of activities and concluded the celebration with a black tie banquet on Sat. Jan. 31 at the Holiday Inn Select. 

The keynote speaker for the evening was Bishop Sylvester Williams, Sr., preside prelate of the 3rd Episcopal District of the CME Church. St. Matthew is under the leadership of Rev. James Hendricks, a presiding elder within the CME Church, and his wife Carolyn Hendricks. 

During the banquet, the church honored their outreach partners.
