Democrats Hiring Immediately For Canvassing Positions
The Kansas Democratic Party is hiring now for part-time canvassing positions in Wichita. Working as part of a team, hired individuals will go door-to-door handing out campaign literature. They’ll knock on doors and engage with people if they answer; encouraging them vote, register to vote, and/or to sign up for advance voting.
Compensation is $12.50 per hour. Individuals must be at least 18 years old, be a registered Democrat, have good verbal communication skills, and have transporation to the canvassing headquarters near 9th and Broadway.
Available shifts include: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 -8:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday 1-4 p.m. and Sunday 1-4:30 p.m. Click here to apply online.
Sedgwick County In Search Of Election Worker Support
Sedgwick County is looking for hardworking individuals to help with the election activities of this fall. Those hired will be a critical part of the election process by interacting with the public and diverse agencies, and entering data on a state-wide database. Applicants should expect to work with a sense of discretion, be able to type at 35 words per minute, and possess the ability to communicate clearly.
