Tuesday, April 13, 2021. 7-8 p.m. “Ask an Expert” with Michael Stubbs, founder of the Prairie Guards, managers of the Mount Mitchell Heritage Prairie site in Wabaunsee County. Stubbs will talk about Mount Mitchell’s connection to the Underground Railroad and the abolitionist Beecher Bible and Rifle Colony, as well as the expansion, prairie-restoration, and educational outreach at Mount Mitchell. The Discovery Center charges a fee: 1 Youth & Adult FHDC Member: $4. I Youth & Adult Non-Member: $5. Under 2: FREE.
