Evergy Connect is hosting an Evergy Resource Connection Event, today, Tues., May 21, 2024, to connect Wichita-area customers with valuable community resources.
Customers can attend at
Evergy Connect, 111 South Ellis St. from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with no appointment necessary.
This walk-in event also will feature several community partners: Greater Wichita YMCA, Wichita Water Department, Wichita Parks and Recreation, HealthCore Clinic, and the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas.
Attendees will be able to have account consultations with Evergy Specialists learn about payment resources and energy savings tools. Wichita Water Department representatives will discuss accounts, and attendees will learn about youth programs to support families this summer from other agencies.
Andover-based Vornado Air will also distribute free Vornado fans on a first-come first-served basis for customers ahead of the summer months.

Evergy Connect offers customized face-to-face account support, consultations and application assistance for utility payment programs and resources, self-service kiosks and an array of additional resources including energy-saving tools, electric vehicles, and renewable energy options. The day-to-day Evergy Connect operations are complemented by special events for customers that focus on utility assistance, energy efficiency, weatherization, career opportunities and meeting space for community organizations.
