The streets and fields of Cowtown come alive as Union and Confederate soldiers drill\, march\, and clash in demonstrations. Hear the crack of musketry and roar of artillery in action. Between reenactments\, visitors can explore historically authentic camps\, speak with reenactors about life as a soldier or individual at a time of uncertainty in the nation. Visitors will learn about the Civil War in Kansas and the impact of the conflict on the state. \n\n\n\nThis immersive weekend offers engaging educational programming for families\, history enthusiasts\, and anyone curious about the Civil War and life in the 1860s. Join us at Old Cowtown and experience history around one of the most researched and discussed time periods as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States as a nation. \n\n\n\nSpecial Event Admission Rates Apply.
