Her role as a curator is not just a job but a passion she brings to life through her work. Before her current role\, she was the Local History Librarian at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library\, where she taught people how to conduct research and worked to preserve the stories of the Topeka community. Her influence extends beyond her professional roles\, as she is a commissioner on the Local Landmarks Commission and the Planning Commission in Topeka. \nThis program is made possible by Humanities Kansas.
