DESCRIPTION:Join us in Wichita\, KS for Simply Poetry’s new group Slam — come experience the Heartlands best as they Battle for Bragging rights!\n\n\nSIMPLY POETRY PRESENTS: The DUO SLAM. The Duo Slam is a group poetry slam bringing together some of the strongest voices from across the Heartland for a night of words\, wit\, and high-stakes performance. Hosted through the continued partnership of Spoken Word Productions\, Blacklight Poetry\, and PLPG Ltd Co\, this event centers poetry as both art and competition. \nPoets will compete in teams of two through three structured rounds\, going head-to-head to captivate judges and engage the audience through originality\, delivery\, and command of the stage. Each round raises the intensity\, narrowing the field until the top performers emerge. \nIn addition to the competition\, the evening features an open mic\, welcoming community voices and emerging poets to share their work and experience the energy of the slam stage. \nWhether you come to compete\, perform\, or witness elite spoken word artistry\, The Duo Slam is a celebration of poetry as a sport\, storytelling\, and cultural expression—all in one electrifying night.
