DESCRIPTION:Kansas families with students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade can enjoy free admission to the summer special exhibition Collidoscope: de la Torre Brother’s Retro-Perspective through the Sunflower Summer program. \nThis program is for Kansas residents only and gives school-aged children and their families access to attractions across the state—completely free. \n◆ New for 2026: Tickets can be used once per attraction\, per season. \n\nHow to Claim Your Tickets\n\n\nDownload the Sunflower Summer app \n\n\nCreate a family account (parents\, legal guardians\, or grandparents) \n\n\nAdd your children or grandchildren \n\n\nVisit the Wichita Art Museum and show your digital Passport at the Welcome Desk \n\n\nEach student gets one free admission per attraction. SUMMARY:Kansas City Jazz Academy Instrumental Combo Camp 2026
DESCRIPTION:Are you a Middle or High School jazz musician? Join the KC Jazz Academy this July for a 5-day jazz intensive with jazz artists & educators.\n\n\nThe American Jazz Museum is proud to present the 2026 Kansas City Jazz Academy Instrumental Combo Camp. This summer program provides excellent jazz instruction for middle and high school students interested in improving their skills beyond what they’d normally receive in a traditional public/private school music program. \nIts instrumental combos are led by a faculty of esteemed artist and educators with a focus on style\, history\, theory\, ear training\, song forms\, repertoire\, and musicianship. Additional clinics and masterclasses are presented by national and international jazz musicians and educators. \nAuditions and Camp will be held in the Gem Theater from 1 PM – 3 PM on Sunday\, July 12. Summer camp check in starts Monday\, July 13th at 9:00 am inside the Gem Theater. Sessions conclude with this year’s Summer Showcase on July 17th from 2:30 PM – 4 PM. \nScholarships available on a first come\, first served basis. Please fill out our scholarship form here.
